1. Introduction of bearing adapter sleeve
Adapter sleeves are the most commonly used components for bearings with tapered bores when locating on cylindrical shafts, as they can be used on plain or stepped shafts.
This bushing is easy to install and does not require additional fixing on the shaft. When using an adapter sleeve on an optical shaft, the bearing can be positioned anywhere on the shaft. When used together with a stepped ring on a stepped shaft, the bearing can be accurately positioned in the axial direction, and the withdrawal of the bearing is also convenient.
2. Application of bearing adapter sleeve
The adapter sleeve is used to fix the tapered hole self-aligning bearing (self-aligning ball bearing, self-aligning roller bearing) on the shoulderless shaft, with simple structure, reliable operation, convenient bearing replacement, widely used in textile, light industry, papermaking, Metallurgy, belt transportation and conveying equipment and other industries.
3. Structural composition of bearing adapter sleeve
The adapter sleeve is composed of the adapter bush, lock nut, lock washer (or lock card) and other parts. Adapter sleeves with lock nut and lock washer are only interchangeable as a set. Spare parts from different sources are not interchangeable.
4. The difference between the bearing adapter sleeve and the withdrawal sleeve
The adapter sleeve tightens the round nut against the bearing, and the withdrawal sleeve does the opposite. The specific implementation method is that the thread opening is different: the adapter sleeve is at the thin place, and the withdrawal sleeve is at the thick place.
5. Marking of bearing adapter sleeve
The mark of the adapter sleeve is represented by the Latin letter H and Arabic numerals. The Arabic numerals represent the size series code and the applicable bearing nominal inner diameter code respectively from left to right. An example is shown in Figure 1. [1]
