Power Industry

Our power plant customers are in need of products that have improved performance and a longer lifespan. Luckily, our products are able to meet these requirements for thermal power generation. By using our tapered rollers, spherical rollers, cylindrical rollers, and ball bearings, which incorporate years of bearing design, application, and manufacturing process technology and expertise, we can provide high-performing and long-lasting solutions for vertical mill journals, ball mill journals, gear drives, and other power generation equipment. We understand that reliable products start with reliable materials, which is why we use bearing steels that minimize the impact of abrasive particles in most industrial settings. Our bearings are commonly used in coal grinding, boiler preheaters, and other power generation equipment.

Motor power bearing

1. Motor bearings, also referred to as motor bearing or motor bearing, are specialized bearings specifically used for motors. These bearings are an essential component of the support shaft, providing guidance and bearing the rotational forces of the shaft. The concept of bearings is quite extensive, and in motors, there are four commonly utilized types: rolling bearings, sliding bearings, joint bearings, and oil-impregnated bearings. Rolling bearings, which incorporate rolling elements, are the most prevalent type of motor bearings. On the other hand, sliding bearings are bearings that facilitate sliding motion and do not involve rolling elements. The model of motor bearings can be customized based on the motor's power requirements and the desired bearing size. It is worth noting that the current standard for motor bearings may not be comprehensive and could potentially undergo standardization in the future.

2. The motor's smooth metal balls or rollers are used in the bearings to reduce friction by lubricating the metal surfaces of the inner and outer rings. These balls or rollers support and carry the main shaft of the motor, allowing it to rotate smoothly. While their primary function is to provide support and carry the shaft, they also play a crucial role in bearing radial loads and fixing the shaft in place. Without bearings, the motor would simply not function as the shaft would be free to move in any direction instead of rotating.

3. Typically, the motor model indicates the seat number of the motor, and the corresponding motor bearing models are fixed. However, the bearing model is not visible in the motor model. Some motors may have nameplates attached to the housing, indicating the bearing patterns and fuel. By opening the bearing cap, most motors will have the model engraved on the bearing end, allowing for easy identification.

Correct selection of motor bearings

1. The bearings in the bearing table have speed limits specified. As long as the speed of your shaft stays within the limit, any bearing can be used.

2. The bearing table provides "dynamic load rating" and "static load rating" parameters for all bearings based on the shaft load. Make sure not to exceed these values when selecting a bearing.

3. It is important to balance the speed and load on the shaft. Neglecting one over the other can result in premature bearing failure and accidents.

4. To determine the motor power, we need to perform detailed mechanical calculations specific to the motor type.

5. Detailed mechanical calculations provide specific parameters for the shaft load, including rotational speed. These parameters serve as the basis for selecting the appropriate bearings.

6. When you are choosing bearings, don't forget to consider the lubrication conditions. These include oil bath lubrication, boundary lubrication, pressure lubrication, artificial lubrication, thin oil lubrication, dry oil lubrication, and no lubrication. If the lubrication conditions are good, you can opt for slightly lighter bearings. However, if the lubrication is poor or nonexistent, it is advisable to choose a more robust bearing.

7. Just like selecting the appropriate TV size based on the size of your room, there is a general reference size, but you have some flexibility within a certain range to make your choice.

The selection of bearings for a motor is influenced by the motor's internal structure. You cannot determine the bearing model just by looking at the motor. Some manufacturers may indicate the bearing model on the motor's nameplate, while others require the motor to be disassembled to check the bearing model. When purchasing a motor, you can ask the seller for the specific bearing model.
